3.7x 164-->167 highly disappointed with my performance, but I got into one of my top pics (UT) and Minnesota so I'm pretty happy with the cycle so far. I'm expecting to end up on everyone else's wait list or just out period (duke, cornell, g-town, UVA). Good luck everyone!

Aw hell yeah. 166/3.7. In at Emory, Florida, Ohio State. Out at Virginia, Penn. Deferred/held at Cornell, Georgetown. Waiting on several more.
I try to remind myself that all it takes is one bold T14 to buck the trend, say yes and make all this stress worth it. And hey, most of us in this thread are going to have great options regardless -- I would love to go to Emory, and those of you with good news from places like Texas, Minnesota and Vandy should be thrilled.

Good Thread. 165/3.80. Already have faced the realization that those with my numbers live in limbo land. . . just out of the top schools, YP meat for the little guys and living a life of unrealized dreams.

I'm applying next cycle. PT'd well above my actual score so I'm retaking in a month. But from what I hear, it'll take 3+ point improvement to be soundly within T14 range.

We're in a bad place to be, close, but just an inch away. I've gotten held at GULC, in at BU, WUSTL, and USC, DR at BC and Vanderbilt, not a word from anywhere else. I'm hoping that my fancy softs will perform a miracle at Berkeley, but not counting on it.

I like this thread, so I'll check in. 166/3.91. A good cycle so far, but a T14-less cycle nonetheless.

Re: The Almost T-14 Club
i was in this boat last year 167/3.65...got WL'd everywhere. had to defer a year, so i couldn't wait out the waitlists. now, i'm pretty much committed to Texas and am glad things worked out this way. to be honest, with my stats, i'm pretty sure i'd be waitlisted this year at Texas.

Re: The Almost T-14 Club
Good thread... I'll play, although I'm pretty sure I'll be going to a non-T14. ~168/~3.4x. Out at G-town (FT/PT ED), deferred at Cornell. In at some T30 and T1 schools though, and I'll be happy with those. Alas. Good luck to all regardless!!

Your numbers are competitive for Michigan, Duke, and Cornell.slb052 wrote:i belong here... unfortunately. (no offense)

You should have decent chances at Michigan, Berkeley, UVA ED, Cornell, and Northwestern (with WE). A few LSNers have even pulled NYU with those numbers.Bikeflip wrote:I'll sign up:
