Not to put a damper on things or lose hope, but I just figured I would point out that the majority of admissions actually occur during the "administrative review" from Dean Tom or his staff:managamy wrote: Don't worry, plenty of people (including me) are in your position. The majority of admissions occur during the committee stage anyway.
"I admit roughly 550 people through what I call the administrative review process, and the admissions committee (the faculty committee) admits about another 200 or so. So, we end up admitting about 700 to 750 people."
But just because you are "under review" for a while doesn't necessarily mean that you won't receive an "administrative" admit...I hope.
Best of luck to everyone!
