That is my impression. I haven't gotten the call yet, but I know for some it has taken a few days.

Well hot dang I just got the call.

In with 168/3.98 - applied Jan 20th. (no idea on UR1/2 dates, b/c tbh I didn't think I'd get in, so I didn't bother using the status checker). Think I have pretty decent extras/softs for NYU and applied to the ASPIRE program with an MSEE. Think those might have been factors that helped me significantly.

Just got a phone call form an unknown Nebraska number. Even though I knew that NYU wouldn't be calling me from NE, I still answered hoping it was a RTK interview. Nope, Walgreens wants to refill my prescription

Ahhh congrats!! Did it come with the generic admit student packet or did it come separately? / Obligatory request for numbers if you're comfortable sharing!

Thank ya much!! I got my admit packet back in mid/late November, and the Vandy offer came in a separate letter yesterday. If you applied later in the cycle, though, I'd think they might make your admissions and scholarship decisions at the same time, in which case both letters might come together. That's obviously just conjecture, though. And as to numbers, I was 3.9x, 175.

Congrats!! Website says you need to have completed the financial aid app to be considered -- is that still accurate?

Not that I recommend this if it's against their directions, but I also got one yesterday without having done the financial aid app.

Also, can we confirm that RTK interview requests are really coming out and if so, how? Kkdk made it seem like they wouldn't start rolling out for a bit.

Someone who would like to remain anonymous told me that they had received an interview request today for RTK. I do not know if others also received requests or if this person was just a STELLAR candidate. Don't worry, though, because I stalked last year's thread and the requests (as well as dings) for RTK interviews went out over a few weeks! And as kkdk stated, they are just at the beginning of that process now.

I know, I'm wondering if this happened to me too. On their website they were pretty explicit about December being the last score they'll consider and it hasn't been an issue at other schools so I didn't bother reaching out but now I'm contemplating it? Although I guess at this point what's three more weeks of waiting.
