Why did you need to clarify this?
reference to the dude's carpet.
I've seen the Big Lebowski. Still confused

Has something to do with the preferred nomenclature and peeing.

Horseshoe House on the west(?) end of delmar loop was delicious. Their signature dish is chicken or beef over texas toast covered in french fries and smothered in melted cheese. Really, really good.
cicero's on the loop is excellent. for breakfast/lunch, city coffeehouse and creperie (referred to as "the creperie") in Clayton is fantastic. If you like sushi, Drunken Fish in the Central West End is great. (Google searches of all these places should come up with the addresses for you)
Go take a walk/run or even just drive through Forest Park, which is right next to the school (I think it's east of campus directionally). It's great and has all sorts of different things- the zoo, the art museum, golf courses, paddle boating, etc. Definitely a must see.
Also, make sure you check out the cafe in the law school. It has pretty good food as far as campus food goes... I ate there at least once a week during undergrad

Awesome, thank you both. That should keep me busy. WUSTL is getting the short-end in that I will only be visiting for like half a day (latest flight that Southwest had), but I will be waking up super early. Definitely going to check out Forest Park.

If the bar is set at "whether or not fatduck gets the joke," things are gonna fly over most people's heads.

Here are some more suggestions:

I second the Cicero's and Horseshoe House suggestions. I'll also throw out Fitz's and Zia's (on the Hill) as great options.

Did you also get the line, "Although we are unable to offer you a seat in this year's class, the Admissions Committee
was highly impressed with your credentials."

Yes, I did. I'm glad they were, cause so were other higher ranked schools (which accepted me).

I also got this email. First ding of my cycle...I was starting to wonder what a rejection letter looks like. Apparently they look patronizing.

Dinged.
I think the line about being impressed with your credentials in insulting. This is of course with the assumption that everyone's email contained that line.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
