Hrmm guess I should check with them to see if my file was updated then as its been 3 weeks.

I sent an initial email just reiterating my interest, and they replied to that (but there was nothing re: a time frame for when to hear...but I sent it literally the same day I got my hold notification). I can't remember if they replied to my official LOCI/resume email. I also sent them via snail mail.

Acceptances are via phone call. Waitlists and dings are via status checker.

Yep. Except maybe international applicants, I'm not sure how those have been handled.

Pretty sure a couple people posted on here that they got an acceptance e-mail, but I might be confused.

Status checker update. To UR 01/28/10. Previously UR 01/19/10. Complete 01/05/10. Not sure what's going on with everyone else. Good news, hopefully?

Under Committee Review (1/29). Faster turn-around than I expected, as I only went complete recently (1/8).

Got an acceptance via phone call after about a month UR, THEN got an e-mail congratulating me that I would be getting a package shortly, etc.

Has anyone received the real packet yet? I got the acceptance letter with the faculty viewbook, but they said a bigger packet would be coming in mid-late January.

Hey, does anyone know what the difference is between Under Committee Review and Under Review at Penn? Is UCR a good sign?

They are being used interchangeably. UCR is all that happens
