I'm looking for some advice here. I submitted my application in early January but haven't heard a peep. It's a bit strange considering I've been accepted at both University of Chicago & NYU, and just recently received my JS1. I think it may be related to the fact that I submitted two LORs from professors, even though I have been out of school for a bit. One of the professors, however, can speak directly to my job experience because he worked in collaboration with me on the project and essentially "supervised" me.
Thoughts about sending a LOCI with another LOR from my current employer (non-professor)?
Thanksss

Edited -- I'm clearly wrong here. Was thinking about a different school that does NOT have Columbia's walk-in policy.

Re: Columbia c/o 2020 applicants (2016-2017)
They state that they have a liberal open door policy to meet with an admissions officer anytime 9-5. Though I really thought about it, I couldn't think of what anyone would need to say unless you have some special interests, needs, or requirements or something, but I don't think it would be neurotic if you are polite and low-key.MrJD2020 wrote:WTF?eck456 wrote:Doing this tomorrow - pm me and I'll update after! Wait, seriously? I must be thinking of another school that absolutely does NOT have that policy. But I could have sworn it was Columbia...Keilz wrote:They state that they have a liberal open door policy to meet with an admissions officer anytime 9-5.
