It's been 10 days since I got an alumni interview request and I haven't heard a peep since. I know the email says to contact them after 12 calendar days, but I feel like every day I wait results in fewer spots left and a crappier chance of being admitted. Is it out of line to email them today?

Ahh, well I'll wait then. Thanks for sharing!strawberrieee wrote:They told you to contact them after 12 days, which I took it as you should not contact them before 12 days.Navyhornguy wrote:It's been 10 days since I got an alumni interview request and I haven't heard a peep since. FWIW on the 11th day after my interview request, they emailed me--without me doing anything--to notify about my interview status (they apologized for the wait, explaining that the alumnus they initially scheduled didn't respond, so they had to reschedule another one for me).

Has anyone who got a scholarship feeler email in mid-February heard back about merit aid yet?

Did an optional video with my application that, based of YouTube's video analytic function, they didn't watch (it was unlisted, and youtube allows you to see exactly where and when in the US the view comes from).
I don't understand.
On an aside, does anyone know the chances of accepted off of Georgetown's regular waitlist?
I was recently rejected from Georgetown. I also did an Optional Response video and according my YouTube analytic function there was not a view from D.C. either. It would be very disappointing if it turned out that every piece of our applications are not being reviewed.

For those who were waitlisted and sent in a LOCI, did you receive a confirmation or anything acknowledging it?

I did. I also added the addendum in my email asking them to verify receipt and let me know if the format was correct. Forcing functions are a thing of beauty.bezmialem wrote:For those who were waitlisted and sent in a LOCI, did you receive a confirmation or anything acknowledging it?

You don't write dozens of emails a week to people who couldn't care less about them without learning a thing or two.bezmialem wrote:Damn, that would have been a good thing to do.BDMPKT wrote:I did. What are your stats? I looked on mylsn, and I think people with borderline numbers who submitted after December are mostly getting priority waitlisted. I think we would have been admitted if we had submitted earlier (November/December). I got put in the special group on the priority waitlist. Still crafting my LOCI.Lthelion wrote:Not necessarily. Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I recently received an email from an associate director of admissions at another university after I had sent a scholarship reconsideration email. In the response I got from her, she was asking about a discrepancy between two residency "status" questions, which were completely different. You wouldn't recognize that the two questions were different, unless you read them both completely.BastianPC wrote:Interesting.Anonnonnon wrote:Waitlisted as well.

So in my head I'm wondering how they require us to read every word on our applications (questions/answers) thoroughly, but then individuals reviewing our applications are clearly not.... hmmmm.

165 3.5 but I'm URM w/ admissions to a few T10s and a T6 so stats might be hard to draw a conclusion from. Also should mention I never got interview request.

Received the alumni interview request this afternoon. My application had been held for the February LSAT so just went complete a week ago on 3/1. Thrilled to get an interview but honestly a little surprised with my stats.
Now, to read the other 98 pages of this thread to get an idea of what to expect.

Has anyone who got the how much money email actually received a reply to their response?

I received the interview request today as well - I don't recall my exact complete date, but it would've been somewhere around late February/early March.

I think a few people have mentioned this already, but does anyone know (or know where we can look) to see what chances are of getting off the waitlist (regular and preferred)? When do they start reviewing those applications?

Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
No idea on chances, but they generally aren't going to start considering waitlist candidates for admissions until after the seat deposit and they know for sure how many regular admits are actually planning on enrolling.Loney M.
