Yes. I am right there with you. I have no business being nothing but rejected, so I am both surprised and saddened by my new WL status. I did not interview, but I am URM, LGBT, and have some other interesting life experiences, including being a parent. So, a last minute move with a spouse in the final year of grad school would be tricky to say the least. I was going to try a deferral and now that chance is shot. Oh bother! What to do?! Apply next cycle and possibly miss my chance at a dream school?!leigh912198972 wrote:Also waitlisted.
In complete shock.
I was 100% certain I would be rejected.
Wow.
Woe is me.
k. Now I'm done lamenting here

Thanks very much. Already out at Y, but I'd be thrilled with H or S. I think I'm going to withdraw from the waitlist. Congrats to the new admits and good luck to those still waiting.bbkk wrote:Hey sorry to hear that.. I guess you are destined for HYS!Arrow4Christ wrote:I'm very surprised and disappointed, honestly. Waitlisted
Below 25 LSAT, above 25 GPA.
I probably won't be riding the waitlist. NYU here I come!

Dinged today. Never offered interview. Not surprising nor that disappointing. I'll probably end up a few miles north on LSDr. Good luck everyone!

Congrats to the new admits!
I submitted late Jan and I'm now sitting at an early-mid Feb 'complete'. Anyone else in a similar situation? I take it most of the admits today applied earlier than late Jan. How long for most to move from complete?

WL here as well. Not terribly surprised but was optimistic post interview. Median LSAT and <25th GPA. I don't think I'll be riding it out. Good luck to everyone else and congrats to the admits!

Re: Chicago c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
Hey guys,
I just spent the better part of my day reading every post in the C/O 2016 U Chi WL thread and honestly it made me feel a lot better. It seems like a lot of people ended up getting in off the wait list, and many of them even found out by the end of April before the deposit deadline so that was promising. Just have to write a solid LOCI and stay positive! Tons of people seemed to leave the WL or decline an offer late because of late acceptances to HYS, so just have to wait it out. No longer stressing about this (at least that's what I'm telling myself)

Grats all let me know if you have questions. WLers hang in there, no reason to reject yourself before they do.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
