Yeah, I caught that. Thanks, though.

Waitlisted as well, not particularily surprised, but obviously would have preferred an acceptance. Having some other good choices takes some of the sting away though.

Wow, denied. 3.75/171
Really, really weird timing. I just visited last Friday (it was really nice), had a pleasant meeting with Dean Post (not sure how I even got this, but the secretary "hooked me up"), and wrote her a thank-you letter and a follow-up letter yesterday to the admissions committee. And now a straight-out denial.....not even a wait-list.
As far as I can tell, no red flags on my application, and I'm in at 4 other top 30 schools (the only ones I applied to). Just so weird to me.
Advice: should I follow up at all with Dean Post? Is there any way to inquire about it, or should I just let it lie?
FWIW, she saw me again after our meeting and asked me how everything was going, but she didn't respond to my thank-you e-mail (I'm sure this is over-analytical, but I'm a bit fuzzy atm, sorry).

Re: U Penn 2010
Any speculation on whether 11/25 UR batch of WL's were actually YP's?
I am wondering whether to stay on the WL.
Edit: didn't end up choosing WL.

WL e-mail today. Feeling a little discouraged, quite honestly...
LSAT > 75%
GPA > median

Re: U Penn 2010
Question: Is the "response" requested in the WL e-mail supposed to be a full-on LOCI type thing, or a simple, "Yes please I would like to be considered"?

It partly depends on how interested you are.WhatUpKells wrote:Question: Is the "response" requested in the WL e-mail supposed to be a full-on LOCI type thing, or a simple, "Yes please I would like to be considered"?

How do dings and waitlists arrive? Snail mail? Email? Status Checker? What about acceptances?

Re: U Penn 2010
Has anyone who sent in an essay/LOCI in response to being held gotten a response back from Penn yet? Not a decision, but just an email or update saying they received your letter and updated your file?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
