Waitlisted as well.

Applied early January. Group interviewed 2/15. Decision rendered today.
25%<LSAT<50% 75%<GPA

Did an optional video with my application that, based of YouTube's video analytic function, they didn't watch (it was unlisted, and youtube allows you to see exactly where and when in the US the view comes from).

I don't understand.

On an aside, does anyone know the chances of accepted off of Georgetown's regular waitlist?

Yea I don't see why there being a wait list wave today would indicate that later decisions are one thing or another. But at any school at this stage in the game, there are less acceptances to give out. Hope is not lost though.

I figured that because the people getting waitlisted range from below medians all the way to above both 75ths. doesn't seem to be another reason besides that they are pretty much full and the only way they can let people in is as others withdraw.

Doesn't seem to be a reason NOT to ding you either ;) unless maybe they haven't evaluated your app yet.

I think that if your app went complete before February, and you haven't heard anything yet, that's a good sign overall. You were probably on the fence for WL/Ding but live to fight another day.

Hi guys, my LSAT is 168 and GPA is above 50%. I got Preferred Waiting List today. So depressed as GT is one of my dream school. Are there anything I could do to get off the waiting list? Could I ask for an interview? Thanks.

Send them a letter of continued interest (LOCI) expressing that they are your dream school and that you will definitely attend if offered admission (if it's true). Stay in contact with admissions every few weeks to stay on their radar, but be careful not to bombard them with emails and calls.

Yeah I had my group interview with Dean Cornblatt yesterday in DC after reading all those posts about YP WL and was pretty discouraged, even though it went well. Thinking it was unlikely I'd get in with GPA/LSAT>75%. Now I have hope again!

With an interview in early February and median numbers, I'm not sure if I should be relieved or worried that I wasn't in yesterday's waitlist wave.

If you haven't gotten a decision yet, you do not know what your decision is going to be.

Also I think people attach too much importance to the interviews and the timing of everything. No offense or anything but Spivey's blog post on the neurotic generation was on point ;).

At least one wave of feeler mails have been sent, but no official offers as of yet, to the best of my knowledge.

Thanks. I have not received any offers. I received the "feeler" email about three few weeks ago.

Finally dinged (complete 1/11). It was a super reach so I'm not upset, anyway at least I got closure.

Definitely should have gone with worried. Rejected after interviewing in mid-Feb.
