its understandable that ur parents didnt like it because the mv is not for their generation. its gonna make generational references to culture like standing in line for harry potter books and listening to the "soldier boy"
it also deals with problems that our gen will face re marriage, technology, alcoholism, gender based violence, life in general

Anyone know the general timeline for the Webster Scholarship? I know applications were due on the 1st, but I'm not sure what the turn-around looks like (i.e. March vs April).

Also, +1 on boyhood. Enjoyed it, but it didn't deserve Best Picture. I liked Budapest Hotel, personally, but I was fine with Birdman winning it.

i think it was supposed to be postmodern. the plot was intended to be bland on the surface, commenting on the mundane every day life of our own lives. but on a deeper lvl of the mv there are gems in there
i guess i ld relate personally with the mv more. the household that mason grew up in resembles mine growing up
whats wrong with u ppl go see it.missing out :mrgreen:

eta ohhh i wasnt talking about best picture best directing. i was commentingon the awesomeness of boyhood ;)

ya rose some LSs hv diff fafsa codes for fafsa for their LSs and some dont. it was super confusing when i did mine

Hello y'all,

I was admitted in January. I'm a reverse splitter (low LSAT/perfect GPA). I apologize if this has already been answered. I wanted to know if WashU sends out admissions packets? Maybe I'm super old-school, but I like having actual confirmation of my admission. Also, how soon do they send out scholarship info? Anyhoo! Any help would be super appreciated!

Email only. The admitted students page has a lot of the info, but yeah I agree with you it is nice to look at an acceptance packet.
