no real data analysis to back it up really, but just based on what i've seen on LSN and these forums. and - a lot more ppl know about the program this year, I think the 2 year thing is attractive in this econ/for those with any kind of career path in place, and their profile shows that they were a bit more forgiving with LSAT/GPA last year, which may have encouraged a lot more people to apply this year.

I don't know about that. I believe the declining number of applications and LSAT test takers will most likely affect the AJD just as it affected every school/prog. In addition many people simply won't apply to the AJD because it requires a substantial amount of WE and life experience (for example, I'm a non-trad applicant with 8+ years of WE and military experience) so this by itself shrinks the number of applicants.
EDIT: I spent some time yesterday reading the 2010-11 and 2011-12 AJD and NU threads and from there it seems like the talk about the prog and the amount of people from TLS who applied is relatively the same. I think the 2010-11 thread had about 14 or 15 TLS people.
EDIT: re declining number of applications check out this new post http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 2&t=203333
I wonder if this spilled over to the AJD program

I would assume all the decisions about AJD were already made, since the application pool is not big at all. Those who did not hear anything yesterday including me probably are just waiting for the rejection letter.JayJones78 wrote:Congrats!! If you look through last year's thread there weren't all sent at once. I don't know why that would change this year. Stay positive.maxmartin wrote:I would assume all the decisions about AJD were already made, since the application pool is not big at all. Yesterday was the first batch of AJD decisions. None were sent out up until then.

Finally complete today.
Applied in mid November, NU took more than 2 months to assign me an interview, then the process took a while once I was given an interviewer.
The delay is disappointing, but happy to finally add Northwestern to the schools I can be on edge about 24/7.

i took a padfolio so i could have something in my hands, inside was a resume and a legal pad. I also took a pen. didn't end up using the legal pad or pen, but always a good call to have.
Absolutely take a resume.
Also-i decided to print my resume on some nice paper at a kinkos. Don't regret it. Feels good to hand over something that looks/feels nice.

This is what you should do for every interview you ever have. And suit up for the love of god. And I recommend writing down notes to any questions you ask them about the school, gives them a warm fuzzy that you're paying attention.feralinfant wrote:definitely take a copy of your resume with you. theyll ask for it.az21833 wrote:HELPPP

Why dont you shake hands, sit down and then ask "Oh, would you like a copy of my resume?" I feel like just walking in and forcing it into their hands is a little forwardaz21833 wrote:mrizza wrote:This is what you should do for every interview you ever have.
