I'm starting to wonder if one of my recommenders didn't write me such a good letter. Like, not bad enough for schools to ignore my numbers and softs, but enough to give them pause.

I think we've already discussed this in PM but yeah, I've been wondering the same thing. Of course it could just be a combination of other factors holding me back.

Also waiting. I'm just surprised I haven't been rejected yet.

Then again, Worm is still waiting too, so maybe we're all getting rejected because one of the adcoms lurking here hates and despises FFX fans.

Yeah, I wasn't complaining. I don't expect to hear for another 2-3 weeks. Just figured people here were anxious to chart numbers vis-a-vis complete dates so I added my two cents for the good of all!

I'm a January applicant too (submitted 1/14, went complete 1/22) and I believe I was accepted on 2/4 or 2/5. Not sure about anything else, including scholarship info, because I haven't received my NCE yet. My Admitted Student Handbook was delivered on 2/7 but I can't log into the website without a PIN. My numbers and softs aren't extraordinary either, so I don't really know what the process is here.

Sorry, I realize that kind of makes me sound like a jerk. I just meant that there are others here with higher LSAT scores than mine that haven't heard back yet, so there isn't anything special about my numbers that explains why my decision came sooner, despite my late submission. It might just be partially random, and I wouldn't read too much into dates.

That's a pretty neat feature. Using the old version it was very difficult to read any details when you hit a cluster of identical or nearly-identical numbers. The ability to sort applicants by $$$ is also useful.

Of course, the fact that the site loads too slowly to actually be used negates all of these nifty improvements.

which pretty much means.. everyone who went complete earlier than 1/22 got their apps reviewed already... and CLS decided to move on..

Perhaps they go through the applicants in order, separate the auto-dings and the auto-accepts and the 'look more closely' files, and then proceed accordingly. In that case everyone from, say, 12/25 to 1/25 could just have their acceptances shipped out in one big batch while they simultaneously spend some time fleshing out the "look more closely" pile? In that case some people with a 1/22 date would receive an acceptance while the 1/8 person was still under consideration.

That's how I would do it. I'm not an expert by any stretch, mind you.

Maybe. Or there is some numerical threshold that triggers an auto-acceptance, while others that are on the bubble are reviewed.

My completion email was dated 1/29. Just got my got acceptance letter dated 2/4. Doubt they would have reviewed my app that quickly.
