Check the invite email, maybe (if there is one)?
Should have clarified: There doesn't seem to be any binding language in the invite, the award, or the agreement.

I did. There are several others on here who did as well, if you do a search. I am blanking on user names now. I don't think anyone has heard back yet.

Congrats az!
Jumped to conclusions there and thought you were saying you had already heard back, risa.

So yea guess I am antsy as well :)

Anyone from UR2 2/13 still standing? Are we toast? I had a good feeling about us.

If I have to wait a month for today's UR2 to become a decision I think my head will explode.

Hi guys! A question--If we are going to accept our position on the waitlist, should the email reply be simple, just accepting the position, or should it be LOCI-like??

I did a small few sentence paragraph. I had done an LOCI already back in January.. so, like did not have huge amounts to continue to add.

Does anyone know how flexible Penn is with the Need Access deadline? My parents are taking their time giving me their info, and the website says that the deadline was 3/1. If I submit in like a week will they still consider me?

LOCIs are written to persuade. If you've been offered a seat, then writing a LOCI will be overkill.
Smspnp- You read that wrong, jubee wasnt give a seat but given a spot on the waitlist I.E. jubee NEEDS to persuade them and it would not be overkill.

Jubee- I personally did a LOCI email for schools I've been waitlisted to, but I'm no expert on the subject. It made sense to me as the email asked me to let them know whether I wanted the spot on the wiatlist as well as asking me if I had any updates for admission etc.

Oh snap, you're right. On not off, my bad. In that case, LOCIs are good.

thanks for your responses! I ended up not really making it a LOCI and kept it brief. After rereading the email, they say they don't review wait list candidates until May, so I figured I'd like to save my LOCI content until closer to decision time and I also don't want to run out of things to say.

Both plausible.
