Ahhh. I knew the ones on LSP and TLS couldn't be right but I couldn't find the others. Thank you! That makes me way less freaked out about not hearing anything.

Although I am still above one median and at one 75th. Argh. I bet my PS is annoying.

And nope, no HYS. I doubt I will, though last year I think everyone with my numbers got in off the waitlist. I'm right at both medians though, a little above GPA, so that's not good, plus I'm in UG with no work experience. I really love NYU though and am interested to hear from Columbia. To be honest, it would be hard for me to convince myself to take H (the only one of HYS I applied to) over either of the NYC schools (though I know this is horrifying to you )

Just speculation, but I think mijenks is wrong. I’d guess that the ad comm had made a final decision by 1/9 for the 1/9 people. For the ones with UR dates later than 1/9, maybe they were just discussing your applications more in-depth. I don’t think 1/9 means auto-anything, just that they had made a definitive decision by that date.

I don't think the dates mean ANYTHING. At all. They could've decided you're in on 1/9, or you're out. Alternatively, they could've decided to take another look on 1/11 or 1/12, and decided either way as well.
