Hey, we have the same dates! Or I guess the common thing to do is +1.

It wont show anything as submitted (aside from the fee) until you go complete, which might be anytime between now and December.

Just reread the email notifying me of completion. It includes this gem of a line, "If your application was complete by February 1, you should receive a decision within 8 to 12 weeks."
Clearly, my application was not complete by February 1. I guess this means maybe I'll get a decision in June or July?

+1. My application was complete 2/2. Thanks, Cornell.

I got an email about going complete today. I emailed them and said I finished my application in December, and they assured me everything was fine.

Exactly. I would say that going into this, I thought that my Columbia ap would be a Hail Mary (which, it mostly still is) and that Penn and Cornell would be the choices I'd be most excited to get into. I kept thinking about how Cornell would be a really good fit for me, and I'd love to go. Now, I'm kind of like Cornell. Pfft. I wonder if getting an acceptance could change that around. At this point, I'm not even sure a rejection would sting.

Same here, I was placed on "reserve" today. Does anyone know if this is just a glorified WL?

You are URM right?
And yes. It just sounds like a glorified wait list.

I have to agree. Cornell was my #1 choice for a while but after getting acceptances at schools that has surprisingly offered 100k+ scholarships, I'm kind of wondering what I would do if I got into Cornell...

Yeah, I'm URM-ish (Cuban). I'm a bit irritated about this "reserve" thing, just call it a WL.

Spoke to a family friend. Got waitlisted at Cornell last year. Waited so long, he withdrew and accepted admission to Columbia Business School. Nice way to treat obviously qualified applicants.

Okay, that's enough WLs Cornell, get to some acceptances!

Admission to top business school =/= qualified for top-ish law school.
She/He probably had decent work experience and a so-so LSAT.

I'm thinking along those lines but have not completely given up hope just yet. I might celebrate going complete in the same manner I would if I were accepted!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
