Whatever my decision at UVA is, I just really hope it gets to me soon. I'm looking to start winding down my cycle a bit and get a better picture of where I will be going, but UVA is a school I'm still REALLY interested in, but I have been at the same status since 10/23. I figure that 3 and a half months of waiting is long enough to make a choice. Sorry to all the WL people.

Well, according to the interview on TLS they normally have handed out 80% of their total acceptances by now.

This year seems different. Perhaps because of the ED extension, UVA appears to be lagging behind last year's pace. We have yet to see a substantial batch of RD acceptances.

Waitlisted via e-mail this afternoon. UR 11/09. 165/3.98. I saw this one coming...but I was on the fence about doing the late ED. Does anyone know if you can ED from a waitlist?

It could also be because here in Charlottesville we keep getting shut down by epic snowstorms. Given the way the weather is shaping up, they may close early tomorrow and/or be closed entirely Wednesday, due to an anticipated extra 12 inches of snow tomorrow afternoon and evening.
