Uh....I was UR 1/15 and I just went BACKWARDS to being "Complete" with a date in December. People with similar/slightly lower index scores are getting in today. What gives?! That can't be normal...right?

I've been under committee review since 12/18. Sent a LOCI and so far no word either way. Penn is currently my second choice given where I want to work and given that CCN are probably not going to let me in let alone give me money to attend. T10 with money would rock my life, and with Michigan gone my hopes are pinned on UVa and Penn...

+2. When I look at the status checker, it says that all they've received is the LSDAS report and nothing else is checked off (despite the fact that it was definitely sent by LSAC on 1/5).

SIGH. Guess I'm in for the long haul on this one.

I always thought when people said "HYPS" that you could pin down that they went to Stanford.

I know, I know. Still, all things considered I'm rooting for the entire 11/25 group to get in to everyplace ranked lower than Chicago. That would make me feel confident. Not getting in does not make me feel confident.

I am in a mildly pessimistic mood today.

haha well if it makes you feel better, i wrote an awkward attempt at a gpa addendum for my penn extra essay. i hadn't planned on applying until the fee waiver and didn't put much heart into it.

Oh, right, yeah, that's totally what I meant. because by "Top 17," I clearly meant any of the colleges in the top 17. . . not just the ones ranked 17.
