Ha. sorry for the confusion. Denial like "in denial of the fact that it's (almost for sure) gonna be a no/wl for us waiters"seeprybyrun wrote:Hard to tell if actual denial to Y or just anticipating it.HonestlyThough wrote:"Law School Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists"

I've never had a pretzel sprinkled with love and light. Salt and butter usually does the job for me. Or pimento cheese... :mmmmmm:pretzeltime wrote:oh, i haven't gotten a decision yet. i just know it ain't going to be an acceptance, whatever it is.
also, sprinkling love and light now that I've expelled my saltiness
Either way, welcome back, and thanks for the positive vibes!

On the bright side, only 2 more days until a waitlist.

Do you guys think that they're just trying to ciphen through the reject piles at this point to pick out the waitlist candidates? It'd be low key awesome if they could just end my admission cycle already

I have a strong sense that this is accurate. I think they've rejected the "no chance" people and are mulling over the rest for the WLacz26 wrote:Do you guys think that they're just trying to ciphen through the reject piles at this point to pick out the waitlist candidates? Looking that way, isn't it? I was really sad about Yale last night, but I put on a red (crimson?) sweater this morning and grabbed my HLS keychain and am trying to focus on that upcoming move.HonestlyThough wrote:McKitten! lookin' like there's a solid to likely chance I'll be joining you in cambridge in the fallKateMcKitten wrote:Checking back in here to say: pls be my friend, fellow Monty Python enthusiast.seeprybyrun wrote:OneHandedEconomist wrote:On the bright side, only 2 more days until a waitlist.

Has YLS accepted any non-URM's this cycle? Just from a cursory glance at TLS/LSN it seems like an overwhelming number of admits are URM

of course they have. On LSN, at least half of admits are non URM.Monday wrote:Yes, YLS has accepted non-URMs this cycle...If your "overwhelming number of admits" doesn't mean 100% of admits, then you already knew this.Studybuddy17 wrote:Has YLS accepted any non-URM's this cycle? Right, I obviously am aware that they have accepted non-URM's but it seems like there have been an enormous focus on URM's at Yale in comparison to other schoolsHonestlyThough wrote:of course they have.
