Do we know if that's the interview? Or will an interview follow...?

As far as I know the interview is separate; I was told that they would send out more details regarding the interview closer to the date/"as soon as the schedule starts to come together" (I did request mine be in the morning though). Did you reach out to schedule your interview?

I did right after getting in! Just got the email about the luncheon in response today but she it didn't mention the interview specifically. Either way, see you then!

The latter. But for the love of G-d, I just want to know for sure. The wait is absolutely killing me.

My vague understanding (as someone held x2) is that for Hold they want to know something more - grades, for you to show you really want to go, a visit, who else with your background or numbers accepts a spot, etc. I think not hearing anything is a neutral - they're still thinking about you and haven't decided if they're going to need that extra info or not

If that's the reasoning (and who knows if it is), then I'd rather be held so I can throw the goddamn kitchen sink at them: sit in on ANOTHER class (or five -- I live here in the city and am a 20-minute cab ride away), have alumni I know well call/email, send in an edible arrangement, wash their feet, whatever!

Congratulations! For us poor souls in waiting, could you perhaps share your complete date?

Also, do we have the consensus that if you haven't heard back within 2 weeks after your interview, it's not a good sign, right? Sigh...

Same. This whole process has made me awfully religious.

I'm in the same boat as well and having sent a train-wreck application, I need divine intervention but a couple pages back on this thread, somebody mentioned how on LSN most who get in hear back within 2 weeks.

That was me -- it looks that way for those who interviewed in mid/late Jan or early Feb, but we really have no idea how representative LSN figures are of the real applicant pool.
