Do we know if that's the interview? Or will an interview follow...?NotAGolfer wrote:Also going to thistomgirl wrote:Is anyone else going to the luncheon next Friday from 12 - 2? (The Richard Paul Richman leadership one)

As far as I know the interview is separate; I was told that they would send out more details regarding the interview closer to the date/"as soon as the schedule starts to come together" (I did request mine be in the morning though). Did you reach out to schedule your interview?tomgirl wrote:Do we know if that's the interview? I did right after getting in! Just got the email about the luncheon in response today but she it didn't mention the interview specifically. Either way, see you then!NotAGolfer wrote:As far as I know the interview is separate; I was told that they would send out more details regarding the interview closer to the date/"as soon as the schedule starts to come together" (I did request mine be in the morning though). The latter. But for the love of G-d, I just want to know for sure. The wait is absolutely killing me.bettyboopydoop wrote:So do we think it's better to have interviewed and be put on Hold or to have interviewed and not heard anything?

My vague understanding (as someone held x2) is that for Hold they want to know something more - grades, for you to show you really want to go, a visit, who else with your background or numbers accepts a spot, etc. I think not hearing anything is a neutral - they're still thinking about you and haven't decided if they're going to need that extra info or notMrJD2020 wrote:The latter. If that's the reasoning (and who knows if it is), then I'd rather be held so I can throw the goddamn kitchen sink at them: sit in on ANOTHER class (or five -- I live here in the city and am a 20-minute cab ride away), have alumni I know well call/email, send in an edible arrangement, wash their feet, whatever!eck456 wrote:My vague understanding (as someone held x2) is that for Hold they want to know something more - grades, for you to show you really want to go, a visit, who else with your background or numbers accepts a spot, etc. I think not hearing anything is a neutral - they're still thinking about you and haven't decided if they're going to need that extra info or notMrJD2020 wrote:The latter. Congratulations! For us poor souls in waiting, could you perhaps share your complete date?bartlettadmin wrote:In! Also without interview
Also, do we have the consensus that if you haven't heard back within 2 weeks after your interview, it's not a good sign, right? Sigh...

I'm in the same boat as well and having sent a train-wreck application, I need divine intervention but a couple pages back on this thread, somebody mentioned how on LSN most who get in hear back within 2 weeks.dwall1121 wrote:I really pray to god this is not a consensus we had reachedlsa16 wrote:I didn't think we had this consensusalpinespring wrote:Congratulations! That was me -- it looks that way for those who interviewed in mid/late Jan or early Feb, but we really have no idea how representative LSN figures are of the real applicant pool.alpinespring wrote:I'm in the same boat as well and having sent a train-wreck application, I need divine intervention but a couple pages back on this thread, somebody mentioned how on LSN most who get in hear back within 2 weeks.dwall1121 wrote:I really pray to god this is not a consensus we had reachedlsa16 wrote:I didn't think we had this consensusalpinespring wrote:Congratulations!
