Yeah, I'm sort of hopeful, but the line re:finaid in the waitlist pdf is discouraging... NYU is my dream school, but I have what amounts to basically a full ride at UCLA, so their 'oh you'll get loans' is not exciting.

For those who received WL email today, are you guys replying right away- i.e. today, and sending LOCI in the near future? I'm thinking about replying back with my lsac# info and express that I would like to stay on the WL. I wanted to spend some time writing my LOCI though.

I replied a little bit after I received the email just saying, "sucks but let's do it". I'll write a more full-blown LOCI with specific reasons why I remain interested in a couple of weeks.

Last year it looks like there was some movement around May 9. But wait lists vary from year to year.

Responded to email yesterday, just to say I'm staying on, not an LOCI. No response yet but I doubt we'd get one until they update us next I imagine.
