So Cornell just waived my interview appointment because they accidentally scheduled it during spring break...

That would work unless the offer states that you must withdraw from all other schools to which you've been admitted. In that case, if you've been admitted to anther school by that point, you're supposed to withdraw and can't do the multiple deposit thing.ManoftheHour wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can have multiple first deposits. It's the 2nd one in May that you HAVE to start withdrawing from schools.
On the other hand, last I checked, schools aren't supposed to ask you to do that until April 1st, and I don't even know if that's what the offer says.

I just sent a little why Cornell email along with an updated resume yesterday. Got verification email within a few hours (a personal one, not automated). Still stuck at 2/24, my first and only complete date, but I hope that helped somehow...

Went complete for a third time today. Late January application. First complete was some time in February or early March (I think, I cannot remember exactly). Second complete was 2 weeks ago. Movement maybe?

Just curious how many people in this thread would be willing to go to Cornell at sticker price or close to it for all 3 years? Would 290k or 270k or 250k debt deter anyone?

Not at all interested in attending at sticker or anywhere close to it, so yes, that would definitely deter me.PrideandGlory1776 wrote:Just curious how many people in this thread would be willing to go to Cornell at sticker price or close to it for all 3 years? Re: Cornell c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
Just wanted to throw my .02 into this. I wasn't going to do the interview, but did. Just got my scholarship letter over the weekend, and it's on the very, very high end. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you can at all see yourself at Cornell in the fall, do the interview. and if your numbers put you in play for some big money, do the interview, hopefully get accepted, and use that scholarship money to negotiate with other schools.vivala wrote:Same here. This may be irrelevant for Theopliske and vivala, but it could be useful to others.
