So I withdrew from Stanford on Monday but haven't heard anything back yet, and my application status is still active. I haven't seen word that there's an official process for withdrawing. I just sent an email.

I got an email last night from Stanford saying they had completed my request to have my application withdrawn. I sent the initial email Monday (3 days), so they are responding. Columbia seems to have missed my two emails, though. I still keep receiving emails from them.

Just out of curiosity, do the DLS for any one day all go out at the same time in the morning, or do they progress throughout the day? This way, I could stop checking my status checker at work after a certain hour and achieve marginally higher level of productivity.

I don't think there's a pattern. Continue being neurotic about it so I'm not the only one

You've got cover since it's March Madness. If you're being productive, you're doing it wrong.

I feel like we should make a "Held @ Stanford" thread for people complete before 12/1/2012 (even though we were never technically notified of hold) since thats basically our direction -> some ding some WL in April

Anyone else with a Mac pissed at the status checker not recognizing your user ID and password!? This sucks that I can only check my status from work. I called Admissions about it and the girl was like, " oh...yeah, this is a known issue." If it's a known issue, FIX IT! You're F'ing Stanford...I'm sure you can get an IT guy to fix it!!!
