Re: Penn 2011
I've been moving pretty fast I wonder if that's a good sign? Complete 1/19---> UR 2/3----> UR 2/10. I don't know what to expect with this cycle any more I get waitlisted at Chicago but in at Berkeley, I get waitlisted at Duke but get in at Virginia (with a ton of cash), get waitlisted at UCLA but get in at Texas (also with a ton of cash). I have no idea what expect from any of this stuff.thelaststraw05 wrote:Up until today I didn't have to worry - but I got my second UCR yesterday. UCR as of today. Submitted towards end of December, complete in middle of January and now URC in the middle of February. This might take a while.

Mine came a little after 6 pm EST, but it was the first day after winter break so that might've been why they called so late.sgtgrumbles wrote:What times do they call?

Still at 1/26 (first UCR date) but really looking forward to seeing what Penn does with me after receiving my first two decisions from T10 schools (WLs at Columbia and Chicago). Philadelphia is looking good to me...

I don't think so, they have been sending out decisions about once a week now. It takes awhile to go UCR, but once that happens they aren't too bad about getting a decision out for you.WarioLaw wrote:UCR as of today. Finally UCR for the first time today, after a 1/08 submission.

Ah, see in real life people tend to value someone who first tries to solve problems for themselves, before asking.jrose5 wrote:Why thank you! Your humor isn't winning you any friends. If you can't be bothered to even read the posts on this page, why should we be bothered to answer your question? There are 97 pages of posts. And the answer could be on any one of those pages. It's simple statistics that the odds are not in my favor that the answer is on this very page, unless you guys discuss that same question over and over again, which I am now beginning to see that you probably do.sgtgrumbles wrote:Your humor isn't winning you any friends. And sorry - my goal here isn't to make friends, and I certainly shouldn't need to take jabs from rude strangers who happen to have more time than I do to stalk the forums.

The question is asked with some frequency, which is why it is particularly annoying when someone can't be bothered to read the dozen or so posts preceding their own.jrose5 wrote: There are 97 pages of posts. In my line of work, people get fired for being too lazy to try to answer their own questions first.

Like I said, it's simple statistics that the answer will not be in "the dozen or so posts preceding [my] own," but since you're so great at figuring things out by yourself, as your job entails, you should look this up.

Thank you. I normally don't get worked up, but it aggravates me when someone comes to us asking for advice and then insult people who spend time on these forums as people without a life.dulcatis wrote:
