What does this mean???
My letter was a waitlist...I think there are 3 sheets of paper. It was a regular size envelope.

Hmm...well provided my housemate is right, I guess a WL is better than a ding. I was just hoping for some closure since I was held back in December. utcris, are you planning on riding out the WL? Not sure what else to do since I already sent in an LOCI and visited BC earlier this month.

I have a few more days to decide...haven't sent my form in. Not sure. I was considering it, but not sure if I should. I've been accepted to BU. I'm sure you can tell...I'm kinda on the fence.

Good luck, Stephanie! When did you go complete?

And I think it's TERRIBLE to be able to tell what your answer is from them before you even open the envelope. How depressing!!

Question:
I sent BC a loci last week. They still haven't responded to confirm they got it. What do I do?

They're pretty slow with acknowledgement of stuff like that, it took them 8 days (I saved all my e-mails) for them to acknowledge an addendum I sent to go with my application.

I'm only curious if when they acknowledge it is when they add the thing to my file. Or do they add it, then give receipt of it a week later? That seems less likely. So far I'm still pending and I hope to be until I get that email.

And evenflow! *waves* Hiiii, I see you everywhere I go on this forum, lol.

It also took them 8 days to acknowledge my LOCI when I sent one in.

So funny story about LOCIs. I sent one in after being held. I called the admissions office today to confirm that they received it, but it looks like they never did   . I can't help but wonder if it would have changed the fact that I was WLed the other day  . I guess there's nothing else I can do other than re-send it. (sigh)

Speaking of LOCIs, do you email admissions or send it snail mail? Thanks!

No, I never heard that they had received it after I mailed it in. I was a bit concerned after hearing people on this thread say how the admissions office sent them notification. (Watching my BC dreams go up in smoke)

No smoke yet! WL is not rejection, right? It's definitely torture to have to wait though, so I get what you're saying.

Tomorrow is day 8 since I've sent my LOCI so if I don't hear from them tomorrow, I'll be calling them on friday.

Anyone take a visit of BC yet? I'm going in a cpl weeks and just want to know what I should wear, questions to ask, questions not to ask, etc. I'm dying to get off their waitlist.

I did a tour a few months ago, and its pretty casual. Just a pair of slacks with a polo shirt would be fine (or if you are a girl, then whatever the equivalent is of business casual). I wore a sports coat over a white button-down shirt without a tie, and I was the most over-dressed of my group. There was no need for the sports coat, and I would definitely have gone a bit more casual if I could do it again.

As far as questions to ask, I think its a good idea to get a hold of current students who aren't part of the tour (assuming they aren't too busy to have a quick word with you). I had a word with two current students who were in the cafe area, and they said they absolutely love the school and that they couldn't believe how supportive everyone is of each other. More than anything else, this left me with a really good impression. Ask about who the best professors are, what advice the student-guides can offer about surviving 1L year, etc. Essentially, get any insider info that you can think to ask about.

Just got an email about the alumni magazine. Pretty cool! Did you guys know BC has the most super lawyers this year? I didnt.

Also, when I had my BC visit, I scheduled a meetings with a few current students I met on TLS. Everyone praised BC fulsomely. Can't wait for ASW!

The merit aid decisions should be coming out soon. The most recent email said that they were starting to make them in the beginning of March on a rolling basis. :D

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
