They must consider you a URM for your NA status, because even though you full time work and triple major might help mitigate your GPA, that number is not the one in question.Cestjustemoi wrote:I don't think I'm urm, I'm white and NA but I clearly said I wad only a quarter. Im a Florida resident I triple majored and worked fulltime during undergrad tho so maybe that helped.fcowrx wrote:URM?Cestjustemoi wrote:I had the same offer and I had a 159 and a 3.4

true who knows maybe, I'm not too concerned about it either way. I have heard they are more generous with Florida residents. I wasn't sure I would even get in my LSAT just scrapes their 25%. I got similar results from all the schools I applied to, now I just to need make my decision it's either UF or LSU and I can't decide.isaiah6v8 wrote:They must consider you a URM for your NA status, because even though you full time work and triple major might help mitigate your GPA, that number is not the one in question.Cestjustemoi wrote:I don't think I'm urm, I'm white and NA but I clearly said I wad only a quarter. LSU has to be somewhat specialized due the Napoleonic Code, so that could be a drawback, but since I am still looking for entry to UF, I think you should go to LSU.Cestjustemoi wrote:

You will probably being in luck, I am leaning towards LSU. They do do a dual degree so you do learn civil law as well. However that was the whole reason I applied I wanted to work in France later in life but didn't want to forfeit an American education first. LA civil code is originally in French. Plus LSU offered more money than UF. The minute I decide I'll withdraw my application from either school to allow someone else entry.isaiah6v8 wrote:LSU has to be somewhat specialized due the Napoleonic Code, so that could be a drawback, but since I am still looking for entry to UF, I think you should go to LSU.Cestjustemoi wrote:

You wouldn't? I'm not elitist in any way, but I would consider that (personally) bombing the LSAT.waverider wrote:Check the profilewiggsb wrote:bomedtheLSAT101 wrote:Decision letter in transit for me 02/25/2010 too. Anyone else get the letter in trans today?

Please don't be offended by my post. Not a knock on you, and it would seem you agree with me based on your screen name.

Re: University of Florida
the earlier posts refer to a welcome letter from the dean under the mailings section...does anyone who went decision in transit today (2.25) have a letter from the dean under the mailings heading?

More speculation here.
Many people have said that UF will be decreasing the size of UF's entering class (I'm not sure if this is true or not).
Does anyone think that this will significantly change the medians?

its possible, but this would get them less money and they need money.waverider wrote:More speculation here.

I think this has been debunked. They decreased from 400 to 300 last year. Hard to imagine they would want to make more cuts the following year.waverider wrote:More speculation here.

Re: University of Florida
Thanks elle. Mind sharing your numbers?
Like I posted a little while back, I'm not sure how/in what order they're getting them out, and I wish I knew.
It sure seems like if you went RCDP at an earlier date you will go Letter in Transit earlier. Obviously there will be exceptions (auto admits, flat out denials) but for those of us on the fence or who feel like we should be in, I think our RCDP dates have at least something to do with when we'll find out.
I find that weird. You'd think they'd just go by scores, IE If you're higher, you'll be notified earlier. And as people with higher numbers dwindle, the lower will start to trickle in as acceptances to fill out the class. But that would make way too much sense, wouldn't it?
I hope you guys get in, congrats on being In Transit.
