Exactly. I think the influx of denials and waitlists come from the fact that law schools are pushing out their final decisions before their seat deposit and scholarship deadlines, and also dealing with people who applied late in the cycle as well.
EDIT: To give more context to the chart I made dealing with January applicants who hear back in March, according to mlsn.info, Georgetown seems to prefer candidates who are at, near, or (even better) above their 75% in either LSAT or GPA. As a refresher (from Law School Transparency):
GLUC LSAT: 25% (161) 75% (168)
GLUC GPA: 25% (3.47) 75% (3.85)
So, if only either your GPA or LSAT around is right around any of GLUC's 75% numbers, (in other words,
if you are a splitter or a reverse-splitter) and you still have not heard back, don't worry and hang in there! Just because you haven't heard anything yet, does not mean you're out of the running.
