Congrats, so did your professor finally pull through? I'm still waiting on one from a professor that I asked in May. Sent him a couple reminders, but he hasn't responded to any of them. Hopefully he's not avoiding me. I think I'm going to have to give him a call once Thanksgiving break is over.

Just got an email with the subject line "THANKSGIVING CARD" (yes, all caps) from Southern University Law Center. Inside the email is an attachment of a sideways, blurry "Happy Thanksgiving" with a pumpkin. I am both amused and confused.

Not much seemed to be happening on LSN.
My guess is post Thanksgiving the cycle will really pick up.

Or at least that was my impression from last year, I don't have any data to back it up however.

Also this wait is unbearable and it only just started... How are you all coping?

I've decided to immerse myself in some personal projects to get my mind off of applications - but I find myself keep being drawn to the status checkers now matter how busy I am ugh.

Did you somehow work The Law Center into your response?

It's actually just a drawing of me hugging Andy Cornblatt.
Had to look him up. He's no Asha.

slowest. week. ever.

At the info sesh I attended Dean Cornblatt gave off those old timey teach vibes - like he really cares about his students, is there to nurture you and maybe a bit unconventional a la John Keating. Made Georgetown even more appealing.

"Today" being the day before Thanksgiving when you asked...Probably not. Did you get one though?

6 of my 8 apps had the LSAC Reports go out before Thanksgiving. Two are complete and in review, two more are complete, one is waiting for the paper report to go complete. (is that normal?) I have 5 status checker logins. I'm interested in every school I applied to, but one of the ones I am most interested in hasn't even given me a status checker yet. I didn't have time to call them before the Thanksgiving break, one checker came through yesterday as soon as I cleared up a transcript issue. (They got two transcripts, but were expecting three. One of those schools was renamed and everything was put on one transcript.)

I hope so, most of my apps went out right before Thanksgiving. I have a total of 10 submitted and now until I get an answer on one ED I cannot write anymore applications. In all fairness, not sure I'm really interested in any other schools (with a sliver of admittance chance.)

You can apply after you ED somewhere, all other apps just have to be RD and you have to withdraw everywhere else if you're accepted ED.
This ED had a compliance agreement to not start/submit any more apps after that one.

Surely you misread. If not, out the school.

It's not a big deal, it's GW's ED because it includes a full ride if you get in through that app.
