Haha but really. I'm relaxed now. I think I was nervous at first because I hadn't gotten into any of my top choices and finals were coming up, but I've gotten into NYU and I'm done with exams, so now I'm not stressed about too much. I still really want a JS2 of course but the wait for the next round of calls isn't bothering me anymore.lawschool22 wrote:We're not nervous or anxious here. I agree that getting NYU has definitely taken some of the edge off. Knowing you will be in a T6 at the very least is certainly something to be happy about.applelover wrote:Haha but really. I also need to keep reminding myself that based on my numbers I was around a 10% chance of getting HLS based on myLSN. So the fact I got a JS1 is just icing on the cake and way more than I ever expected.

I think the short of it is: don't ever freak out about things like this.Power_of_Facing wrote:Didn't want to touch this thread, but should I be freaking out about the fact that I haven't received a JS1? I went complete in late October. Numbers are competitive/borderline for Harvard.

At this point, could the JS1 non-offer be taken as an indication of dwindling admissions chances?
I won't fret too much, however, because I have had an otherwise nice cycle. 'Serenity now,' as my pal George says.
The "NOWandLATER" taffy brand really ought to release "serenity" and "insanity" as flavors. I'd buy that gunk.ShrimpToastMasters wrote:and we all know what that means. insanity later.Power_of_Facing wrote:Allow me to rephrase.barrelofmonkeys wrote:I think the short of it is: don't ever freak out about things like this.Power_of_Facing wrote:Didn't want to touch this thread, but should I be freaking out about the fact that I haven't received a JS1? I wonder what will be the latest date of JS1's they'll go to. Does anyone know the shortest turnaround time we have seen in past cycles?wtrc wrote:It's gotta be Monday. The post- JS1 crew is getting big and Monday would be in-line with the last three cycles.
Monday.
The shortest I can recall is 3 days, but that person had a 3.92/180.lawschool22 wrote:I wonder what will be the latest date of JS1's they'll go to.
