Re: UVa. Regular Decision
Just got the WL e-mail. Not troubled in the least--applied because I had a fee waiver and will probably withdraw shortly. Best of luck to everyone still waiting!

oh well, was expecting a rejection anyway...and even if I did get in, it would have been without $$ and its hard to turn down the amazing offer I received from W&M (instate, plus 15k which brings tuition down to around 8k - and in addition to that a 4k stipend...) UVA probably would not have been worth the money anyway...
167/3.75
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ELSE![]()
Sorry. But your W&M offer really is awesome!

I know, I know, I should have ED but when WUSTL threw so much money I didn't want to commit to sticker.sorry
Eh, its what I figured, though I do have a why UVA/loci ready to send so it may not hurt. Dont say you didnt tell me so!

If you have a 178, that's moronic that someone would say that you have no chance. Don't listen to them. Do your best to try to get in if you really want itsplitmuch wrote:paulinaporizkova wrote:i'd guess no chance at allsplitmuch wrote:Anyone have an idea of splitters chances at getting in off the waitlist? 178 but 3.1 (no why UVA) and wondering if its a legit waitlist or just a soft reject.

this is all UVA is concerned with. but fine, if you want to spew your shoot for the stars message, whatevs.
plus you're totally disregarding GPA by your own argument's standards. 3.1 is LOW

Dinged today, expected with my #s.
Still kind of stings though, my first ever rejection from a school (UG included) - figured I had to get ambitious at some point with my apps though.

Same boat as you (UR 1/31). I didn't send a LOCI yet, but I guess I should think about doing so.askyemcdonald wrote:Hmmm...I applied in mid-Jan and I sent a LOCI today...still UR 1/30....
