My mail comes around 10:45 AM--I think I'm just going to try to go out pretty hard Friday night and then wake up when the mail comes. (Unfortunately I haven't been able to sleep past 9 lately, though)--also, hopefully I will get it in the mail tomorrow so this won't be an issue

based on everyone's numbers who have gotten letters/status checker changes so far... should I be expecting a ding/waitlist, in your opinions with a 170/3.8? I applied RD in September and am still at 10/20 UR

I have a 170/3.96 and I got a letter sent 12/6. I wouldn't lose too much hope. I was UR 11/8.

It gave me hope! I mean, a 3.96 and a 3.8 are different (congrats on a stellar GPA, btw) but not sooo different. Thanks, starrydreamz

Oh come on! A 170 is a killer LSAT even in this bizarre world of overachieving law school gunners. Just needling you, but really, you should relax. You've got great numbers.

So I haven't been following much, cause I figured it would take forever for my app to go UR since it was the last I submitted but-

Holy Shit.

My app went from 11/30 Submitted, 11/30 Processing to 12/9 Under Review? Isn't there a complete? Isn't it supposed to take a few weeks to process?

ETA: Question answered. I had just heard it could take up to six weeks, so it was a shock.

Oh my lord. that means you have to stake out your mailbox all day until the postperson comes and then beg for them to overlook protocol and give the mail straight to you. This calls for a lawn chair and fifth.

Statuses have been changing on the NYU Status Checker since 12/3. Right now, it seems like there's been 3 days of status changes, 12/3, 12/6 and now today, 12/9. So don't worry if you haven't had your status change yet. There's still plenty of time. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are a bunch more status changes tomorrow.
