Got home from a trip last night...
My roommate: You got a big envelope from Columbia! I think you're in!
Me: :::sigh::: I'll go open it but was it vomit colored?
Roomate: Was it...what?
Me: Yeah plus they don't release regular decisions until late January this year maybe first week of Feb...nevermind I'll go open it....
Thanks for the viewbook CLS

This makes me smile every day <3
& my boyfriend considered not coming back to school until Sunday (instead of Friday) because he didn't want to deal with what I've dubbed the "Columbia crazy mailbox freakout."
I haven't told him it might be early February. He might kill me.

I'm just waiting for a rejection. I applied because it was free and there is always hope of a mistake...
Looking at the last couple of years they haven't made a me-level mistake since 2006.
It takes a lot of the stress out of waiting.

If they follow las year, wl/rejection letters are cream-colored. Old-school business cards color.

Hey guys, what's this about RD applicants not hearing until late Jan./early Feb.? Does that mean the only people who have heard up till now are ED? Someone enlighten me, please - too tired to go back and read a few dozen pages. Thanks!
I applied early Jan., right after the Dec. LSAT scores are released. Does anyone know if the turnaround time at Columbia is fast or not?

That's correct. And don't expect to hear back for a while.
