I interviewed this past week, and my interviewer said the committee meets every Friday. I was told I should get my letter in two or three weeks. So I would say it's quite probably that people who interviewed earlier will be hearing back quite soon!jewkidontheblock wrote:Anyone think scholly letters will be sent out today? Looks like they were released around this time last year.

Oops I misremembered the timeline. Early January as soon as I submitted.lymenheimer wrote:You submitted that before NA/Fafsa opened up?lawschoolapplicant92 wrote: I've had "Need/Merit" listed under scholarship type since the day after I submitted my financial aid form in December so :/

Had one of the first few scholarship interviewees in January, and was told to expect the first or second week in February. Also, received a really nice (but unrelated to $) letter and pamphlet from the Dean yesterday. Real bummer

That's so rough. Let the rest of us know if your status checker changes to scholarship info mailed, as you should be one of the first!jg61 wrote:Had one of the first few scholarship interviewees in January, and was told to expect the first or second week in February. Got the same thing in the mail. After just telling my SO that I hadn't heard anything from Duke, and expecting scholarship stuff sometime this week, it really threw me off

Said this in another thread, but there needs to be a moratorium on mailings during scholarship season. Had the exact same experience last nightlymenheimer wrote:scooped: Keep us updated on whenabouts you get yours so that we can have a baseline.jg61 wrote:Had one of the first few scholarship interviewees in January, and was told to expect the first or second week in February. Still waiting for an admissions decision, got a letter from Duke Law today thanking me for my visit back in November. I am now on board for the moratorium.jewkidontheblock wrote:Said this in another thread, but there needs to be a moratorium on mailings during scholarship season. For those who have not yet had a scholarship interview, here's a quick update. The admissions director said based on when I interviewed (today), I should expect to hear back around early to mid March with a scholarship award. Looks to be about a month turnaround.

The need/merit thing shows up almost immediately. It's just an indicator that they've received your form.earthabides wrote:Same, not sure when it showed upmustmixwithaction wrote:I have something listed on my status checker under scholarships, but no listing of any mailings.

Fwiw there was a big wave of UR people on 2/8 I believe. I applied in early Jan and went UR on 2/8. Don't think you can assume ding if you haven't even been reviewed though.tvu wrote:Oh alright, thank you for letting me know!Nagster5 wrote:Duke takes forever to go UR. So I don't know if anyone can help me out here, but RD went UR 10/6 and haven't seen any movement. A little odd? Just want some second opinions. For the record <50 LSAT GPA>75. Not really freakin out, but some outside opinion is welcome

Re: Duke University School of Law C/O 2019 Applicants
Question for those who already did scholarship interview: Did you get asked names of schools you were accepted to and scholarship offers you got? I know the 1st part is in Need Access app, but I'm not sure if I should update them with new offers I got since I completed NA app.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
