Ok then, I believe you are Johann.Guyver wrote: My identity? No body knows me. However, feel free to drop your guess.

I thought that too, it's pretty out there. But then again it seems plausible if you're trying to hide who you really are. There are also little tidbits Guyver has put out there like "btw Johann reads this forum from time to time..." Like I said, I don't have any proof I just feel strongly that this could be someone from NU Law or even Johann himself.ggnobbq wrote:it's good, no northwestern rep would ever use the hideous NW acronym over NU

I have no proof to back this up other than my interpretation of your posts in the context they were written.

How worth it is it to give them a call and gently ask whether or not our application will be reviewed soon? Mine is sitting at a February complete date and hasn't moved, and it's creeping up to the end of April....

Son of a B****! I visited Northwestern in 2010 and met him. That was a pretty foggy memory though when we had a panel of law school representatives locally last fall. I showed up late and missed introductions. I walked up and talked to him afterwards, and said something along the lines of, "I think we've met before. You're Johann, I assume." Assuming that mostly because it was a deans panel. He said no, and gave me another (ethnically-different Asian) name. I felt like crap!
I also missed his introduction at ASW, so I still hadn't figured it out.

How long does it take for decision to appear after notification? Furiously refreshing over here.

Why are u so sure it's going to be ding? Does acceptance come as an email? I was held in Mid March and haven't heard a thing since then...Jessicakes90 wrote:This. Nope totally could be an acceptance - I believe all decisions come the same way. But I wasn't held and it just seems super late in the game to be accepting candidates. Plus, seems like it's all WLs and Dings lately, but I guess we'll see!hala92 wrote:Why are u so sure it's going to be ding? Does acceptance come as an email?
