I didn't know Chicago gave such serious grants.
The Rubenstein scholarship includes
a $15k/year stipend alongside full tuition.

Wow, that'll be a sweetass deal!!

Interviewed a few days ago, and my interviewer said I will get a decision by end of this month.

Is this the last year they are giving it? It was supposed to last three years, right?

Do we know if it's still possible to get a Rubenstein this cycle, or have they all probably been distributed?

I think that there is always a good number of people who turn them down in favor of HYS.

Well, here's hoping. It seems like one of the best scholarship programs amongst law schools.

There is. They have about 20 scholarships to give/yr and they've given out 22 already based on TLS alone, so the fin aid office must assume a lot of people will turn it down.

Chicago emails have generally come close to end of business day, correct? Like, there's still hope for today?

Towards the end of the last cycle (2012-13), there was a wave every three weeks. If that pattern holds, then we should expect a wave around 4:30/5:00 EST.
Points in support:
- Most decisions this cycle have been released on Tuesdays.
- At least one of the 2012-13 waves that I referred to were immediately preceded (1-2 days) by status updates.
Points in opposition:
- Second wave of the current cycle (2013-14) was on Tue 2/25 (i.e. five weeks after the first wave of this cycle). That would suggest that patterns from the 2012-13 cycle will not hold.
- No Twitter update.
ETA: First decision in the last wave was reported closer to 6:00 EST.

Looks like 1:25 according to

I got my email from Chicago during the previous wave. I got it at 3:58 p.m. (CST) so not too far off from right now time-wise.

Some twitter expert is going to chime in and explain this mystery. I definitely see 1:25 PM - 25 Feb 2014.

No expert but Twitter is on the west coast so they use PT as the default. If you log in it uses your settings. So this was posted at 3pm CT, 1pm PT (default twitter) and 4 for the east coasters.

Awe, shucks

bbkk has certainly been killing it this cycle with scholarships, so I wouldn't bet against her.
And not to add to the confusion, but I see 3:25 PM on the Twitter post. I think it just has to do with what time zone you're in.
