Re: Cornell c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
I got a Dean's Scholarship award today in the mail. They don't specify if the amount is per year or for the full 3 years, but since they use the full amount + loans to = COA in the letter, I assume it's per year.
Pretty exciting, and I'm pretty sure I'm heading to Cornell if NYU or Columbia don't come close

Dean's scholly would definitely be closer to a full ride, so that should give you an idea of whether it's per year or not.edwardt1988 wrote:I got a Dean's Scholarship award today in the mail. Anyone else with a current status date change to 3/17 today?
Damn Cornell, let a brother in.
At one 75th, above the other, Why Cornell.

Re: Cornell c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
Visited the campus today! 15 degrees, and I'm from Florida. The cold was fine, but the wind hurts when it blows. I talked to people in the office of admissions today, they were super nice. I sat in on a 1L crim class, it was quite entertaining and the atmosphere was friendly and cooperative. The campus is massive, but the law school is on the south side by all the housing and by collegetown, so probably in the best spot overall.
Very excited to attend, definitely the best fit for me. Section sizes are like 30 people.
However I would need some scholarship information to make this feasible.
75th LSAT, 50th GPA, applied November, accepted in December.
Pm me for any questions.

I am pretty sure the admission officer wiped his or her ass with my application. Submitted 2/1. Still incomplete.

Re: Cornell c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
Does anyone know how reserve impacts $?
Would most likely attend Cornell if I get accepted off reserve, but not at sticker since I have some really good offers from schools like Emory/WashU/Bama/GWU/BU (I'm from the South, so more regional schools are fine for me)

Historically, you might get a little money, but the most I've seen was $37.5K total.acc123 wrote:Does anyone know how reserve impacts $?
