Global Warming! Summers the last two years have had around 70-80 days of 100 degrees plus and very little rain. Overall I like it and Spring and Fall are the best seasons of all. No hurricanes but an occasional Tornado threat that typically just ends up raining and storming.

That's probably an exaggeration. We had record heat this summer, and it was over 100 or about 10 straight days at one point, but that was unusual.andy261 wrote:Watjared6180 wrote:I live about 4 hours straight west of STL and we share much of the same weather. We had another hot stretch a few weeks later, but it was only over 100 for about 20 or so days total.
Summer highs vary between 75 and 100.

(lol'd at the time zone map though)
would have helped a couple weeks ago when i schedule my skype interview.
"9am works for me" - me (I'm in PST, so I could be awake by 9)
"Okay, I'll put you down at 9am our time." -WUSTL
"wait.... are you eastern or central?" - me
"Central." - WUSTL
I honestly thought when I said 9am, I meant 9am PACIFIC. oh well, that 7am interview was better than 6am....

Seriously, I'm just telling you guys so you know once you begin big-boy school: People judge you, ok? They judge you. Like, when I see some kid with acne or dirty clothes, I think "immature...ugly...homeless--ew!" Wake up, you're professionals! I mean, look up the Butterfly Effect if you don't believe me. This is real and observed.Xs20 wrote:That is so not professional. HALO EFFECT

If I weren't to look up the butterfly effect, would the halo effect cause you to judge me? Or did I just butterfly effect myself while wearing a halo? Or....wait I think I got lost there
