Ditto. I was freaking out for a while since I wasn't in the first group to get the email.
What time did you get the e-mail? After 5 PM PST?
I got it at 3:08 pm. I meant that I was worried that I wasn't in the FR 1 group because I didn't know there were going to be a second. Sorry!

Haha if that happens, I would probably pass out. Glad other people are in the same boat at least. Here's to more FR2s tomorrow.

Anyone know if this is the same email the first FR group got?
Dear moneybagsphd,
I write to inform you that your application at UC Berkeley Law School has passed an initial administrative review and has been selected for further consideration by the Faculty Admissions Committee. The Committee will begin deliberation on your application on February 17. We anticipate a final decision will be reached on or around March 9.

Thank you for your patience.

Edward Tom
Dean of Admissions

It is my understanding that there are fewer applications under consideration, and that there will be roughly the same percentage of admits in this batch as FR1... Don't take my word though.

Fewer admits, but I'm under the impression that there are also fewer FR2 people.

This is only my second decision, and from my top school.
