I sent in my application around Christmas time and have yet to go complete. Status checker still says App is received/ processing. Is this the typical experience in wait time between app received and complete?

Thanks!

+1 but I sent in my app yesterday.
+2. Just curious, really.

Yes, I'm sending an email to the address noted in the Levy invitation email to tell them that I don't wish to be considered for the program.

Yeah it is. Aren't you a dude though?
Yes. It's a calm, confident image of yourself to show the world, which is great for people to have in mind when they're talking to you.

Kansas Interstate:
Image Google, not me. (Since I'm Canadian and have no idea what a Kansas interstate looks like.)

Just visited Penn today. I was a little surprised by the condition of the facility. Still would love to go there though. Anyone who was deferred from ED heard anything yet?

I'd like to get more details on this comment if possible. Feel free to PM if you want :)

One thing to consider when deciding is that Penn will be completely rebuilding Pepper Hall from May of this year until 2012. The good thing is that Pepper Hall sucks anyway and we don't really use it (mostly it's admin offices) and when it's done it'll be great, but there will be construction going on around the school for a significant period of time. The other three buildings (Silverman, Gittis and Tannenbaum) have all been recently redone which is why I wanted details on the comment about the facilities.

I dunno about him, but I was really underwhelmed by my visit back in the spring of '09.

Also, withdrew today after a mid-December WL invite. Good luck to everybody still waiting on UPenn St.

Me too....just sent them an e-mail to withdraw this morning, after getting the WL invite on 12/17. I can't wait till May-June for a decision as I need to get my logistics sorted out earlier on account of being an international applicant.

Good luck to the rest!

Same. Is this another one of those schools where that clearly doesn't mean anything, or might it have some kind of significance?
Same here. Seems that everyone that went UR 12/18 then 1/14 has very similar stats (like all 171, 3.7-8).

Well, I had just come from Villanova's brand new $70M building so perhaps my expectations were high. Penn is a world-class school but the building felt antiquated. I guess I expected the classrooms and stuff to be a little more updated. I understand construction is planned to fix a lot of this, though it will be a few years until complete. The building was also really hot but it was unseasonably warm that day. I'd definitley go there, just was underwhelmed.
