Re: USC 2010!
If the timeframe in which we will receive scholly offers is roughly related to acceptances, I'm in for a looooong haul. Do some of the people tantalizing us with their offers want to include their acceptance dates, just so we can have an idea?
UGH not looking forward to another few weeks of neurotically running to the mailbox every day! My neighbors already think I'm nuts!

If you arent accepted yet I have a feeling you wont get much of a scholarship offer.1800calturk wrote:If the timeframe in which we will receive scholly offers is roughly related to acceptances, I'm in for a looooong haul. What does the Rothman rejection say? I'm an invite who applied for the scholarship but still have not gotten a rejection for the scholarship or a decision for the school (IR for 6 weeks now). Does the Rothman rejection reference you having been accepted?

I'm still complete at 1/14.jman77 wrote:I hope not... I'm still at Complete 2/9 (my first and only one so far).fs_tills wrote:And if you're still just "Complete", then you can expect your auto-reject letter in about 2-3 weeks?autarkh wrote:So the consensus is that if you went DF today, you're getting rejected? If you get WL, status checker says WL instead?

Re: USC 2010!
I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but is there a consensus on what exactly "Decision finalized" means? How and when will I get my decision? Is this likely to be a rejection since it does not say that I was accepted directly on my status checker??
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Can anyone let us know how long it was between your decision and your scholarship offer?

It was a little less than a month (3 weeks, 4 days) between when I received my acceptance letter and when I received the scholarship offer.1800calturk wrote:Can anyone let us know how long it was between your decision and your scholarship offer?

Got my scholarship letter, and now wondering how open USC is to negotiation. Anyone have info on this?

Did anyone receive a large package w/ no scholarship info, just info on the school and letters from Office of Admissions?

20k (which I am thrilled about but not sure how to come up with the other 25+ p/y)
I don't know about negotiating - I want to, but it says "this is the full extent of grant or scholarship aid being offered to you", so I don't want to look like an idiot. What is the consensus?

It does not hurt to try. The worst they can do is say no.Dostoevsky wrote:20k (which I am thrilled about but not sure how to come up with the other 25+ p/y)
