Have you guys waited the full 3 months before sending LOCIs? Because I've only hit 2 months and some change since going complete (no waitlist and no deferral, just waiting), but I am thinking about sending one. Too soon?

I actually sent one like 10 days after going complete (1 month after applying) as a combination "why NYU"/LOCI. I'm still not sure if it was a great idea. But I just wanted them to know that they were my absolute #1 choice.

Maybe we haven't heard because for once they got more than one J.D. application from Queens College...

Ha I had no idea you went there too! That's awesome. I like your theory, but my friend who also graduated from QC just got into NYU and Harvard...

I took the December test (first time) so my score report was sent on 12/29, but I submitted the rest of my application around Thanksgiving.

Hopefully I wasn't in the autodeny category, because if so it is too late......

Yes, I got one on Monday. They said it was added to my file. I was thinking the same thing, re: being too late...

I support a system of giving decisions strictly by submission date though. Submitted in Sept? Decisions in Nov. Submitted in Oct? Decisions in Dec. etc etc.

and decisions don't include holds... screw that crap

Does anyone know if NYU has a cap of the # of LSAC reports sent if updated, because I see they did not accept my last one. Does that mean rejection or have I gone over my limit???

Hey Core, I've been UR since Nov... so also waiting and wondering if I'll be under considered for scholarship if I don't hear back soon!

How do you know you are UR? Does NYU have a secret status checker that I don't know about?

Also, have people been waitlisted yet at NYU?

No status checker. I'm assuming he means complete.

LSN reports a single waitlist at NYU, along with a smattering of rejections but mostly accepts so far.

For those of you who are going to any of the ASDs--are you bringing someone or going alone? I'd feel kind of awkward going by myself unless I knew that other people were doing the same

I'm going alone to the one in early March. My girlfriend will be in school. Might meet my sister for a day or two as she lives in Vermont but she won't attend the ASW with me I'd imagine.
