You never know! The fact that the interviewed you means something big. Schools use different metrics when deciding who to accept. Maybe you have an impressive soft H viewed is more appealing than NYU did. It's not a definite, obviously, but there's something to be said for getting the JS1 in the first place. I imagine even if you don't get H, you're going to have a good cycle.calpolisci2016 wrote:Thanks for the kind words, and yes I did! But now I'm worried if NYU won't take me, why would HLS? What's the deal with deferred ED? I can't find data in previous cycle but I'm guessing we all end up WLd or Ding'd, right?

So interesting trend on LSN. All 4 people who have posted their rejection have a GPA below the 25th. Even though 2 of them have an LSAT above 75th (172). No splitter love in a down LSAT cycle?
Please-- make wild assumptions based on the statistical signifigance of 4 people. I know I am.

Also, I was in your JS1 wave too, cali! I'm sure you're going to be just fine and, if it helps, you're not alone in that 'waiting for a JS2' anxiety haha

Sorry to hear it. I recognize your SN from LSN. I have your exact numbers, just applied a bit later. I guess I'm waiting for my ding too now.

UR2 since 12/12, applied 11/2 with what I thought were competitive stats. Now I'm just scared.
