I hope not because I am in the same boat -- date change, no interview request.Chalupa-Batman wrote:UR2 today, UR1 2/10. Is the consensus that movement without an interview request is bad news ? There is no way to know that this is the case, even with the same UR1 date of 3/7.China Spy wrote:Congrats!Cocoblues wrote:I spoke too soon apparently. Interview request here too.

Complete 2/13, UR1 3/4, interview invite today. not interviewing until end of next week, so there's no shot of making it in time for Admitted Students days, huh?

does anyone have any idea what two date changes without an interview request could mean

No clue.. A lot of us are in the same boat (UR3 and UR4 with no interview) so I guess we'll find out soon enough.lakers180 wrote:does anyone have any idea what two date changes without an interview request could mean

Best case scenario for me would be a waitlist... UR3 with no interview as well.herrowww wrote:No clue.. Just interviewed Monday, how long does it take Chicago to make a decision after an interview?

Nobody can say. It takes at least a few weeks so far, but at this point it is getting a bit late so they may end up rushing a bit to get as many acceptances as they can before ASW. At this point, it's all guessing.actexas wrote:Just interviewed Monday, how long does it take Chicago to make a decision after an interview?

Depends on a number of factors, including when the next wave happens. In the decision wave on January 21, I think someone who interviewed on the 17th got accepted, but others with the same date got passed over (like myself).actexas wrote:Just interviewed Monday, how long does it take Chicago to make a decision after an interview?

At this point I don't know what's worse.. At least with a ding we can quit worrying about it and focus on the options we currently have. A WL just prolongs the agony, and it can be as late as AUGUST when schools accept people off the waitlist, which will throw all current plans and newly signed apartment leases for a loop.. And I assume that if you are accepted off the WL there will be very little (if any) scholorship money to be had..groovy20 wrote:Same UR1 3/3, UR2 3/13, and UR 3/17.fkt18 wrote:Best case scenario for me would be a waitlist... What are dates of other previous waves? Can someone predict next wave date?AFP wrote:Depends on a number of factors, including when the next wave happens. Do many people get invited for an interview? My LSAT is barely above the 25th percentile and GPA is above the 75th percentile. I just don't know why they would interview me if I have such a low LSAT. Getting an interview is a good thing, right?

January 21 and February 25 (both Tuesdays). If the pattern holds, there'll be a flurry of UR movement this Friday, then decisions next Tuesday at 4pm central.actexas wrote:What are dates of other previous waves? Getting an interview is definitely a good thing. They wouldn't waste their time interviewing someone who they're not interested in. Get preppin', and good luck!UCLAHopeful2014 wrote:Do many people get invited for an interview? My LSAT is barely above the 25th percentile and GPA is above 75th percentile. I've got a question - according to the ABA 509, 37 students are receiving more than full tuition. How is that possible?

I didn't know Chicago gave such serious grants.

The Rubenstein scholarship includes a $15k/year stipend alongside full tuition.Seoulless wrote:I've got a question - according to the ABA 509, 37 students are receiving more than full tuition. How is that possible?

They really like high GPAs.UCLAHopeful2014 wrote:Do many people get invited for an interview? My LSAT is barely above the 25th percentile and GPA is above the 75th percentile. I just don't know why they would interview me if I have such a low LSAT. Getting an interview is a good thing, right?

I'm guessing decisions today or sometime this week considering all the UR change activity, especially all the changes to UR4.
