Yup. First contacted them two weeks ago, sent in the copies of my competing offers last monday.

I PMed a few of you but was your first email response from duke after sending a negotiation, them giving you an increase? i sent a negotiation email sunday and the email i got said back 2 days later said they'd review again, but the tone of the email made it seem like it wasn't gonna happen unless i had some type of evidence of need

I got a confirmation email that they received my request for an increase the same day I sent it. The next day (I was on a tight deadline) they responded with the increased amount. HTH

I felt the same way when they initially responded to my request but a few days later they gave me a substantial increase

Just filled out the form. Is there any chance of getting any money if you're accepted off this list? I apologize if this question has been answered obviously in past threads, just don't have the time to peruse.

I put my scholarship application form in the mailbox on Monday and got an email with my scholarship yesterday (Thursday). That's awesome.

Ive already sent them 2 LOCIs, one in beg of march and one early last week, so it seems too early to send anything else. I was working on getting another LOR but was gonna hold off sending it till the end of april. Thoughts?

I'm gonna send an LOCI, but it'll only be my second.

I'd send the LOR in maybe a week. That way, you show that you read the email and remain interested, but you're not sending the LOR right after an LOCI.

I was looking through last year's Duke thread, and I noticed one guy who got 70k off PR. I don't know how common it is though.
