I looked over last year's thread, and it seems some people got letters without a status DLS update. Although, they had December UR dates. Has anyone had the same experience?

I don't know about the named scholarships (although I think like in February or March, you can check on last years thread). Regular scholarship info comes out in mid-April. They do it all at the end. Just make sure to have all of your info in by April 1.

Yeah, also the April 1 date isn't quite hard and fast, I didn't submit everything on time and I still got a little $. I don't think I would have gotten more if I had submitted earlier, but it really isn't that hard to do. The biggest thing, though is to make sure your parents are on board to get all of their financial info in (unless you are like 30+, no matter how financially independent you are, parents financial info is required for pretty much all schools). That's what took the most time for me. If you are only applying for merit aid you don't have to submit Need Access/Fafsa, but you most likely will for other schools.

I can't log in to the ASW yet either. Still assuming this means good news and I'm in....my first acceptance! Yay!

Also reassuring to see that it took a while for you to go under review... I've been starting to wonder if my "being processed" since 12/2 is a bit odd. I'm kicking myself for not applying earlier (submitted other apps early October), but I'm a California girl who only recently became okay with the idea of leaving the west (best) coast.

Submitted mid-November, UR 12/1. #s and softs are in my profile. Any reason to believe they've started WL/D already?

No. All previous years WLs have started in January.

Decision Letter sent today here too. I wasn't on the ball with applying to NYU and submitted around Thanksgiving time. This quick turnaround is pretty shocking.

Decision Letter Sent! UR 11/29. Can't sign into admitted students website/no phone call, so will wait to tell family and friends...but still wanted to share my excitement with someone!
