No scholarship info yet and I was admitted almost a month ago. Neither did I get this 'feeler' email, so I just sent a long email about why I need aid, unsolicited. No reply to that either. I don't know if they specifically say no merit aid or whether I should interpret the silence to mean that!dala77 wrote:+1. One of my recommendors wanted this as well, that's how she does all of her letters because it helps guide the letter. Most schools have this somewhere on their admissions website, essentially where they talk about what their "typical student" should look like (e.g., driven, well rounded, involved, experience with x y and z, etc.)48976 wrote:hi everyone! I was unfortunately waitlisted earlier this cycle, and asked for a supplemental recommendation from one of my managers. He really wants to tailor it to the school itself, and wanted me to send him a list of attributes of what Georgetown is looking for. I have some ideas, but I thought that this would be a best place to ask for some advice! Any and all help appreciated

Is anyone still waiting to hear back? When do they promise decisions by? Also, does anyone know if you can change your app to ED at this point?

Waiting here! And it's killing mecalgoldenbear wrote:Is anyone still waiting to hear back? When do they promise decisions by? Also, does anyone know if you can change your app to ED at this point?

That said, I'm not sure how much ED will actually help except to drive down scholly money... I read an article (after I applied) that GULC does not statistically seem to favor ED vs. other schools that do (I can't find the article, I'm sorry!). I was accepted at another school with similar rankings with $$. I love GULC and it's still my top choice but I realize I probably screwed myself a bit moneywise.

I've had changes to my resume since I submitted; do I need to submit a new resume and who do I send it to? Also, is it okay to send an LOCI at this point if I'm still waiting for a decision?

What exactly can one expect at the Admitted Student receptions? Anyone know the dress code? I'm thinking dress pants/skirt and a blouse, since they're held at law offices.

Just got the feeler email (I think), asking what level of funding would help. How exactly are you guys responding to that?
I'm tempted to reply back with, "A full-ride would be nice"...but, I'll restrain myself.

To those of you who have received the feeler email and gotten scholarship offers already, how long did it take to get an offer after sending the email?

Re: Georgetown Law School c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I got an email today from Georgetown stating that they recently emailed me an invitation for an alumni interview but never heard back from me - but I never received that email invitation!!! Even if I hadn't been checking my email hourly for the last few months, I've searched high and low in my emails today and am 1000% positive I never received anything from them since the status checker email. Obviously I would have responded ASAP had I gotten it. Georgetown is one of my top choices so I'm really stressing about this. I immediately responded that I'm of course interested, but that I never received the initial invite. I applied in late January but beyond that I have no idea when they sent the invitation, and of course now it's super late in the cycle to be interviewing. Anyone heard of this happening before??

Re: Georgetown Law School c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
they are still interested in interviewing you, and this (lost email scenario) must happen at least once or twice each cycle - in other words, they're accustomed to this and do not penalize the applicant for it.07marie05 wrote:
don't get in your head about it. go kill that interview and get your GULC acceptance!

Has anyone heard about GLS lately? Does anyone know when decisions are supposed to come out?
