Re: UVA c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Do you think if we haven't received an invite to interview yet, that there's little to no chance?
I'm certainly not an auto-admit by any means but thought I would've at least gotten an interview. Sorta getting bummed.

+1, I was really excited at the prospect of UVA but sitting at UR1 since 12/1 is discouraging.EWofNell wrote:Do you think if we haven't received an invite to interview yet, that there's little to no chance?

Me too. I'm > 75 LSAT and > 50 GPA so I am a bit surprised. I must have mis-represented myself in some way.EWofNell wrote:Do you think if we haven't received an invite to interview yet, that there's little to no chance?

Really not sure what is going on with my UVA app. Submitted in December, a few LSAT points over 75, .05 under median GPA, in State, submitted a why UVA.
I would have expected to hear something by now :/ sucks because it was definitely top 3

Re: UVA c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Is that actually a bargaining chip? Should I be telling schools I got into one of HYS to increase $? Sorry I'm genuinely confused because I never thought an acceptance would serve as a bargaining chip when the offer at HYS hasn't come with $saf18hornet wrote:I'm assuming they just didn't want to update scholarship info until after they were done negotiations.speedofthought wrote:I see someone on LSN who got in in September (and had an account and updated things between then and now) and just posted a Dillard today.
Would love to know that story!
They were also accepted to HLS FWIW. A small bargaining chip....

Mind clarifying where the March 3rd date is stated? I've been admitted but am traveling so it's possible I've missed something.RParadela wrote:Snail mail, usually with your acceptance package I believe.addie1412 wrote:How have most people been notified about scholarship money?
Alternatively, When you log on to your SIS after March 3rd, you'll see if you have any $$$.

Someone from UVA posted in the c/o 2020 FB group. "Bottom line - check SIS on March 3 (not at 8AM. Later than that. You will get an email from us to tell you aid has been posted.)" probably after lunchLHS17 wrote:Mind clarifying where the March 3rd date is stated? Just got a UPS package from them - apparently all Dillards get a bunch of books that professors in UVA published. Cool touch!
