I believe WL is by email as well. Im still at UR2 and I wonder if it's accept -> WL -> ding? Should I be insanely worried if im not with the DLS crew?

At this point in the cycle I am just so tired of trying to read the tea leaves of every event, but I just can't seem to bring myself to stop. I feel like a crazy person.
Perhaps this is a preview of the sociopath I will inevitably become during 1L...

And there were dings yesterday, so no telling if they're following a pattern.

Still, if I had to guess, I'd say I'm at the front of a big WL blast.
And just got the email. WL'd. I still really want to go here, and would basically accept at the last minute pretty much regardless of $$, so this is way better than a ding. That said, I think it can't be stressed enough how shitty this whole, drawn out process was.

Good luck to those who just got the WL who are gonna wait it out!
I applied pretty late in the cycle (right around the deadline) and I've been UR1 since 3/20. Figured a LOCI would only annoy them with that time frame, but I'm getting antsy with the recent movement. Will it just make them take longer on my file if I send a LOCI now?

I submitted my app on that date as well. I didn't send one bc I figured there's understaffed and I didn't want to add to their burden and annoy them. At any rate, it looks like there's not much waiting left since they're supposedly sending out all decisions by late April.

I don't remember what the deadline was, but I submitted my app in the first week of feb. I was also considering sending a LOCI but I decided against it for those reasons exactly. I think it might annoy them/ put an unnecessary hold on our application. I say we just wait it out, I have a feeling we will be hearing back this week anyway.

Waitlisted via email as well. UR 12/12. Their email and the attached PDF make no mention of a LOCI-- they just ask for updated grades, honors, etc.
Do you think the lack of a mention means we shouldn't send them? Even though we've now been officially waitlisted?

WL, withdrew.
In my response email: "Please withdraw my name from consideration. I will be depositing at NYU's big brother, Columbia, later this week."
unnecessary but cathartic

Most likely nothing will come of it, but I definitely don't think that's smart. Adcoms do talk to other adcoms, and you don't want to get a reputation for being unprofessional before you even step a foot in the door.

It's funny and it's light. An NYU adcom calling a Columbia adcom to report something so small would never happen.

What's latest submit/UR date for WL applicants? I'm thinking there will be another wave for us that applied in 2015.

Are there others still waiting with UR1 dates from 6 months ago? I'm sitting with one from 10/23. No DLS today.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
