is it general consensus that LOCIs are a good idea for held applicants? I never sent one; I just made sure to update the LSAC with my first semester grades (for a small GPA increase). But I never thought to send a LOCI since the hold email seemed to stress that they do not need anything else. Did I shoot myself in the foot here?

Any one out there who had a group interview? How long until your decision?

I, too, did not send one. I had mentioned in my PS why georgetown was the right fit and interviewed with an alum, at which time I reiterated my interest in GULC. So, if your case is any similar to mine (even if it is that you just interviewed w/out mentioning GULC in your essays), I don't think there is much to worry about.

Awesome, thank you. I did express my interest in my alumni interview, so I'll let that speak for itself. Good luck to you!

I got an interview request on 1/28 and just heard from my interviewer today. The interview is scheduled for this Friday. (My app complete date was 1/9.)

Is it really bad if I went complete like early early Jan, got a group interview request and had to turn down (they were chill with it) but have had no updates since?

I'm at 12/10 and haven't heard a thing. Real long shot though, so not terribly surprised.

How many days after the last "complete" date do people receive their acceptances/denials in the mail? (Obviously, it depends on your distance from DC, but just wanted to get a sense of when the letters go out the door.)

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Dings and waitlists (and holds) are via email. To my knowledge, only acceptances come by snail-mail!

And, for an example, my last update was 11/22, and I received an email saying that I had been held for further review on 11/25. (But status checker still says 11/22.)
