So many fewer applications compared to recent years, Yale's still trying to keep its acceptance rate at a painstakingly low level

I don't think the ding wave is over. Just send them Yale...
Even though I don't think the ding wave is over either, I wouldn't be surprised if we're all WL. Knowing y'all's credentials, it wouldn't be totally shocking.

Btw, edgeofthenight, not sure if you've figured it out yet, but I'm pretty sure we're tumblr buddies. (Sorry for never remembering to respond to asks.)

Did they announce a total app number for this cycle?

We absolutely are - I figured it out when you posted your book. I meant to message you, but I was lost in a cave of thesis insanity all weekend and totally forgot.

I'm churning out papers here, so no judgment. I'm supposed to be analyzing "Goblin Market" right now actually... the people doing math on the computers on either side of me are looking mighty judgmental when they glance over at my screen...

Belated :( to all the dings. I'm sorry you guys.

When I posted. I doubt this is going to be a short wave, with all the applications they still needed to reply to.

you mean they are doing them basically one at a time? that seems inefficient...

Yale should troll us with a tweet like "And that's the last of the decisions, hope you all got the answer you wanted!"
